Nepean ICU Staff
One of the main reasons that ICET was built, was to provide Nepean ICU staff with a dedicated education space.
In addition to all of the sessions that you can attend in the Intensive Care Unit itself - there are additional resources that are available to you.
We hold a number of 4 hour workshops throughout the year - just for ICU staff. These workshops are based on topics that you want to learn about! Dates and topics will be posted here as soon as we have them planned.
You will find below, a whole heap of really useful resources like blogs, other websites and you tube videos. You can also access our very own lecture lecture library here.

The Nepean Intensive Care Unit Website
This is the home page for Nepean ICU. It contains all of our unit policies and procedures as well as some generic information about the unit. Please ask the NUMs, CNE's, CNC's or CNS's for the username and password to the staff only page. This info can also be found in your orientation manual.
ICCMU
The Intensive Care Coordination & Monitoring Unit (ICCMU) is a great place for both community and intensive care clinicians. You can log in to the clinician only section for access to various policies, procedures, guidelines and education packages related to critical care practice.
Australian Resuscitation Council
The ARC are the ones who come up with those different resus guideline for us! If you want to get familiar with them, need to check out a resus flowchart or are just interested in learning more - then this a great resource for you.
